A New Horizon!
A new day has dawned at Horizons Church. A new leader is in place to lead. A new church leadership is ready to forge ahead with God's plan. Therefore, a new day is on the horizon at Horizons.
I want to be the first to invite you to come and meet me, the new pastor, and my family. Just recently, I moved my wife and daughter from Kentucky to Texas to take the job as lead pastor here at Horizons. We have previously served churches in Michigan, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Indiana, and we are excited to take past experience and put the knowledge into practice in the North Dallas area. God has already placed in my heart a vision for what can happen when God's people unite together to see His kingdom come in The Colony and beyond. I simply cannot wait to see what God is going to continue to do in this body of believers as a result of His vision becoming a reality.
With this new day at Horizons, there is no better time to make Horizons your home. If you do not attend church anywhere, please come and see what God is doing at our church. If you already attend, continue to pray for Horizons and serve in our ministries. Wherever you are in life, I want to meet you and come to call you friend. Horizons will have its annual entry in this year's parade on July 4th. This year's theme is Super 4th: "Heroes for America". Meet at the Ministry Center at 9:00 a.m. to join Horizons' float. Plan to join us for a great time with your church family! CiCi's Pizza Fundraiser (Jy 12)
Ready for a break from cooking?? Come to CiCi's Pizza immediately after church Sunday, July 12. CiCi's will donate a portion of their proceeds from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. that day to our children's ministry.
